Overview

What the TCU Does

The Danlaw TCU collects CAN data (OBD) from multiple ECUs — including EMS and ABS systems — generates real-time alerts (harsh acceleration, harsh braking, cornering, and more), and captures GPS position data. All this is processed onboard and transmitted to your backend via MQTT with end-to-end encrypted communication. It also supports full vehicle diagnostics — VIN readout, LIDs/PIDs, DPIDs, DBCs, DTCs, Freeze Frame data and Actuator control — accessible via Bluetooth Dongle or MQTT.
